MISG began providing EDI solutions to the ASA community in 2000 and quickly has grown the service to include many leading manufacturers, distributors and program groups. Currently close to 200 ASA member companies conduct EDI through MISG.

The ASA Center for Advancing Technology works closely with MISG to implement industry standard guidelines. In the spring of 2000, the 'EDI Express Standard Document Set' was released and has become the de facto format for EDI mapping. One of our goals is to simplify e-commerce for our members and their trading partners. MISG has exceeded our expectations and enabled the PHCP industry to utilize a uniform network and standard communications protocol.

We recently partnered with MISG to deliver EDI solutions through a new association that represents the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HARDI) trading community. We see our partnership with MISG growing in the coming years, and by further establishing itself in our industry through various distributor program groups and new technologies, our members will only benefit."
